SYNOPSIS
In Quebec’s rural Eastern Townships, Le plancher des vaches follows the journeys of three 15-year-olds who attend a special, and very small, high school where they learn farming and agricultural trades. As boarders in the homes of experienced farming families, each student learns by doing, and develops a true master-apprentice relationship with their hosts and mentors.
