Le rêve de Champlain (Champlain’s Dream) is a historical docudrama about the life and work of French explorer and  discoverer, Samuel de Champlain.

Drawing inspiration from the book by historian David Hackett-Fischer, this six-episode series blends documentary exploration and historical reenactments to give an account of a pivotal time in North American history, through the seminal role of a true renaissance man.
