The print media is going through dark times. The internet is disrupting its business model, and moreover, journalism itself is being attacked at its very foundations. La une is a series about how the news gets reported.

By showcasing the inner workings of the largest French language newsroom in North America, it demonstrates the fundamental and indispensable role of journalism in our customs and political system, with the hope of raising public awareness about the obstacles threatening it and the urgency to act to ensure its survival.
