Kevin is a top-notch debt collector. When he finds out his girlfriend Julie is pregnant, he makes the tough and risky decision to leave the world of organized crime. Knowing too much about the organization, this doesn't sit well with his boss and mentor Santa. As Kevin juggles the arrival of his baby and making a clean break, he relives the traumatic events of his youth that shaped who he is today. From his mother Sue, who sends him for the summer at his uncle Stephen's — golf course owner by day, debt collector by night — to the tragic reunions with his father Richy, a repeat offender and unstable criminal he barely knows.
