L’histoire en minuscules features historical events, but from an intimate perspective, as recorded in the diary of Hortense, a 90-year-old grandmother slowly withdrawing into her own world. After reading the diary, Hortense's granddaughter, Flore, decides to recreate, through role-playing, some of the key moments from her grandma's life: D-Day, September 11, Expo 67, the first Quebec referendum… Flore progressively uncovers the special meaning and connections between these historical events and her grandma’s personal life.
